It’s been a minute (or really a few years). My involvement in the hobby hasn’t wavered - I’ve kept busy buying baseball singles and sealed wax, per usual. But what changed was the newsletter. I stepped back from writing as I chased down other professional opportunities, and Mint Condition sat quiet for longer than I expected.

Over the last six months, the hobby pulled me back in. The rise of live commerce and digital repacks, the evolving Fanatics and Collectors ecosystems, the historic sales numbers that auction houses are hitting, the number of new startups across all parts of the industry…it all pulled me back in. Alongside my pursuit of launching a hobby business (more to come there), Mint Condition is back.

I’m not going to promise you a daily or weekly newsletter, and I’m not going to promise you’ll agree with my takes. But I’ve got a lot on my mind, and I’m excited to share it with you all again. Stay tuned.
