Sports Collectibles Advisory Launches, Seeking to Provide Independent, One-Stop Shop of Resources to Collectors, Investors, Startups, and Corporates
Personalized services revolve around managing and selling collections, high-quality industry research, startup and corporate consulting and financial and data analysis
Do you have a collection of sports cards or memorabilia and need unbiased, independent support to help value and sell it for you? Do you need more hands-on management of your collectibles? Are you looking for high-quality research into what sports, players, or products could be great buys? Are you a startup or other company in the collectibles space seeking help on strategy, pitch decks, or financial and data analysis? If so, Sports Collectibles Advisory (“SCA”), led by experienced collectibles and financial professional Joel Belfer, is here to help.
There exists massive inefficiency in today’s sports collectibles market. People need better help managing their collections – organizing, researching, helping decide when and where to sell and for how much. Individuals looking to buy need help finding the best opportunities – based on data-driven research, which sport, player, or product could be a good buy and from where should I be buying? Startups and corporates need stronger support to continue growing and adapting in the everchanging collectibles landscape – go-to-market and strategic assistance, fundraising and pitch deck creation, and financial and data analysis.
Sports Collectibles Advisory, led by Joel Belfer, is seeking to provide an independent, one-stop-shop of personalized hobby resources. Independence is key, as other potential advisors, like those tied to auction houses, consigners, and marketplaces, are incentivized to provide advice that convinces you to sell items with them, whether or not it is the ideal time or forum to sell. Belfer is a respected hobby participant with years of relevant experience in the collectibles and business worlds. A graduate of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Belfer has worked in financial services in both investment banking and private equity roles. He is also the writer of the Mint Condition industry newsletter and has been featured on multiple podcasts and shows – Collectable Live, Dr. James Beckett’s Sports Card Insights, and Neustreet – and in various publications – CoinDesk and Forbes. Belfer’s industry thoughts are respected across the hobby by collectors, investors, startups, and corporates alike.
Through the launch of SCA, Belfer hopes to apply his collectibles and business acumen to support other collectors’ and companies’ hobby journeys, whether that be helping an individual or family who needs help in valuing and selling items or conducting financial and data analysis for a new startup looking to find a foothold in the market.
No project, task, or question is too small or large – please reach out to SCA at sportscollectiblesadvisory@gmail.com or through the contact page on the company’s website to get in touch with the team and learn more about how SCA can help you.
